Students with special educational needs had learning difficulties during the pandemic. Especially during the three months of quarantine, children and adolescents with dyslexia showed less reading activity and less motivation to read. Parents of children with dyslexia reported a significant increase in stress, and almost all parents of children with special educational needs reported difficulties in establishing study routines, negative effects on learning, and insufficient help from teachers on how to support their children’s learning (Soriano Ferrer et al., 2021).

The program for 2018-2020, with a total budget of 1.2 million EUR (with a contribution of 80% from the European Social Fund operational program for Extremadura) enabled the participation of 1 053 young people from the Roma community. This is a significant increase compared to the 2016-2017 program, which only had 604 participants.

ResumenEste artículo describe una solución global que cubre las necesidades de infraestructura TIC de la comunidad educativa. Se ha partido del principio de que la escuela tiene autonomía en el desarrollo de su proyecto educativo. Y, al mismo tiempo, existen redes de personas y escuelas que pertenecen a un sistema corporativo. La solución global consiste en una arquitectura tecnológica básica compuesta por tres proyectos evolutivos (las Redes Individualizadas de los Colegios, la Red Integrada de Banda Ancha y el Sistema de Gestión). Las bases estratégicas para el diseño han sido que las necesidades básicas de la comunidad educativa y el despliegue de la infraestructura TIC deben estar sincronizados con los objetivos de transformación del sistema educativo. Este estudio se ha enmarcado dentro del proyecto MEDUSA. Este proyecto es una iniciativa del Gobierno de Canarias (España) para extender el uso de las TIC en el sistema educativo.Palabras clave
